From the people of Kodachaya

우리 노래방 — our room, and yours for the night.

We grew up on this block — where the restaurants stack four floors high and nobody goes home early. Kodachaya is the room we always wanted on it: good sound, cold beer, no clock watching you.

Every room is painted by hand — galaxies, fireworks, a crowd with its arms up — and every room is tuned by ear. The songbook runs from trot to K-pop to whatever you played in high school. Come with ten friends or come with one.

And because we can't sit still: some nights the big room becomes a gallery, a runway, or a set. That's the other half of what we do — see what's coming up.

85–95 sq ft, up to 4 people. The two-friends-and-a-soju room. +$5 per extra person.

General Room

$45/hr

127–305 sq ft, minimum 5 people. Wraparound seating, two mics. +$8 per extra person.

Grand Room

Package

810 sq ft, up to 30 with a bottle package. Doubles as the event room for shows and screenings.

843 square feet of bar, four registers deep.

Somaek sets, Moët and Dom packages, makgeolli by the bowl, and a kitchen that keeps frying until close. Bottle packages start at $350 and include two hours of karaoke.

Our owner came up in art before he came up in hospitality, so the Grand Room doesn't only do birthdays. Runway nights, opening receptions, listening parties, company buyouts — we build the room around the night.
